Welcome to Brisbane

From my past and recent experience while chatting wif frens, i realised tht most of my pals bac in Malaysia seems not to knw Brisbane..the place where i reside for more thn 3 yrs nw. Every1 seems to knw Gold Coast better, so i thought it might be good to post something about this lovely city:)

Brisbane,is the capital of Queensland and the third largest city of Australia after Sydney and Melbourne. Gold Coast, is another city located in Queensland and reachable with an hour drive down from Brisbane. As there are several beaches located in Gold Coast, the most famous of them all would be Surfers' Paradise.
Brisbane, a place pretty much covered with sunshine all year round has a semi tropical weather with highs of 35 celcious in summer and a low of around 5 celcious during winter time.

Eventhough this city is abit small if compared with the likes of Sydney or Melbourne, she has got a lovely river which flows along the city. The river helps to inject a relaxing atmosphere and also a touch of brilliance into the already beautiful city.

There would always be a river festival coming near the end of August every year. The grand finale of the celebration would be spectacular fire work shows along the river in the opening of the festival. It would also promised to be one of the biggest night in brisbane. So it would be a good idea to visit Brisbane during tht time and i would promise that to be an once in a lifetime experience
